O especialista no mercado de carros usados e CCO do Carzen, Gustavo Milsztayn, listou as fraudes mais cometidas nesse setor.
Carro prisioneiro
Nessa modalidade, o comprador recebe ofertas de preços bem baixos e formas de pagamento atrativas. O vendedor teria acesso a automóveis que só poderiam ser comercializados em leilões, e apresenta documentos que comprovariam o fato. “Na realidade, o veículo está realmente apreendido e os documentos são falsos”, explica.
Carro fantasma
Segundo Milsztayn, esse crime acontece com mais frequência do que se imagina. O carro é anunciado com condições muito vantajosas. O comprador é informado que o veículo está em outro Estado. Nos próximos contatos, o vendedor diz que está prestes a aceitar uma outra proposta. Para não perder a oportunidade, a vítima repassa uma entrada ou o dinheiro – mas nunca vê o carro.
Consórcio contemplado
Os criminosos vendem uma contemplação de automóvel em consórcio. Com documentos falsos, enganam o comprador sobre a oportunidade única de compra do veículo.
Carro NP
NP significa “não pago”. O golpista vende o carro omitindo a informação de que faltam parcelas para quitação do mesmo. “Depois que os documentos são transferidos, o motorista percebe que adquiriu um veículo e uma dívida”, esclarece Milsztayn.
Golpe de internet
O criminoso vai até uma empresa e aluga um automóvel. Cria um documento falso para esse carro e o anuncia sua venda na internet. A vítima gosta e faz a compra. Quando o contrato de aluguel do golpista vence, a locadora bloqueia o carro e anuncia na justiça e na polícia, gerando grande prejuízo para o motorista. “Esse é o golpe mais recente do mercado e envolve locadoras de veículos”, conta.
Com tantos tipos de golpe e suas particularidades, é necessário redobrar a atenção antes de realizar o pagamento do automóvel. De acordo com o especialista, há maneiras muito seguras de fechar o negócio sem dor de cabeça.
“O primeiro passo é ter calma – não fazer a transação por impulso, nem mesmo quando a oportunidade parece muito boa. Aliás, quando está muito fácil, é vital desconfiar”, orienta Milsztayn. Nesse contexto, o comprador pode pesquisar o preço da Tabela Fipe e a desvalorização de mercado, para ver se o valor anunciado faz algum sentido.
Em segundo lugar, o motorista deve buscar uma fonte de dados segura e completa. “Investigar o histórico do carro, checar informações como histórico em leilão, duplicidade de motor, decodificador de chassi e indícios de sinistro”, defende.
Caso o veículo esteja na região, o interessado pode pedir uma vistoria de confiança, em uma oficina conhecida ou empresas especializadas. “Quando tudo estiver explicitado, aí, sim, é hora de realizar o pagamento e aproveitar a nova aquisição.
