O evento acontece diretamente no site www.amtleiloes.com.br, onde serão ofertados 414 itens retidos administrativamente e não reclamados pelos proprietários, sob a responsabilidade do leiloeiro Álvaro Marques Teixeira.
O público em geral pode arrematar 148 veículos com documentação (aptos para voltar à circulação), sem restrições policiais e/ou judiciais, desvinculados de qualquer pendência legal ou financeira. Dentre os destaques, uma Honda/CG 160 Start 2017/2017 com lance mínimo de R$ 1.500 e um M.Benz/MPOLO Torino GVU 2002/2002 com acessibilidade para o transporte de pessoas com deficiência a partir de R$ 10.500. A Autarquia recomenda aos interessados que agendem a visitação nos CRDs para verificar os bens pessoalmente antes de efetuarem os lances.
Já os Centros de Desmanche de Veículos (CDVs) credenciados ao DetranRS podem adquirir 266 lotes de sucatas para comércio das peças ou reciclagem.
Para conhecer e examinar os bens, os interessados podem entrar em contato com os CRDs por meio dos telefones informados no item três do edital 024/2021. A visitação acontece nos dias 30/09, 01, 04 e 05/10, das 9h às 17h, e os depósitos organizarão de forma que não haja aglomeração de pessoas e atenda às determinações e recomendações dos órgãos responsáveis, para fins de enfrentamento da pandemia. Caso necessário, o CRD poderá limitar o tempo de visitação por interessado para atender a todos sem que ocorram aglomerações.
Leilão virtual
A forma de realização é bem parecida com a presencial. Terá a participação do leiloeiro, que estará em auditório fechado realizando o apregoamento dos lotes. O leiloeiro será visto pelos arrematantes em vídeo, e os lances ocorrerão de forma online (aqui recai a maior diferença para o presencial, em vez de cantar os lances, os arrematantes lançarão de forma online no site do leiloeiro). Será considerado vencedor o licitante que tiver feito a maior oferta aceita pelo leiloeiro, não sendo considerados válidos quaisquer lances enviados após o encerramento do apregoamento do lote.
Também haverá a opção de realização do pré-lance online, em que o interessado poderá dar lances prévios, ou seja, antes da abertura do leilão virtual. Os lotes que receberem ofertas nessa modalidade iniciarão o leilão virtual a partir do maior lance registrado no sistema. Caso não haja, no momento do leilão virtual, lance superior ao do pré-lance, o lote será considerado arrematado pelo licitante responsável pelo maior pré-lance.
