Investigação começou após um empresário de Pelotas perder R$ 47 mil por meio da plataforma
A Polícia Civil do Rio Grande do Sul cumpriu oito mandados de busca e apreensão contra alvos ligados a uma quadrilha que aplicava golpe do falso leilão de automóveis na internet. A operação ocorreu na manhã desta quarta-feira (15), na cidade de São Paulo e cidades vizinhas e contou com apoio das autoridades locais. O trabalho de investigação começou após um empresário de Pelotas perder R$ 47 mil por meio da plataforma.
O empresário que caiu no golpe trouxe elementos da transferência dos valores aos estelionatários, o que nos possibilitou chegar a identificação de todos suspeitos — destacou o delegado titular da 1ª DP de Pelotas, Gustavo Pereira.
O setor de investigação identificou seis indivíduos da estrutura criminosa. O golpe consistia em atrair compradores para um site falso criado pelos estelionatários com a estrutura de um leilão virtual. Como há relatos de vítimas no mesmo site em diversas partes do Brasil, ainda é impossível mensurar no momento o valor do prejuízo.
Os valores dos automóveis eram bem abaixo do mercado, atraindo compradores do Brasil inteiro. A estrutura da página na internet envolvia a vítima na trama até que ela acreditasse ter feito a maior oferta pelo lote. Depois da transferência para contas dos criminosos, a vítima era iludida com um prazo de entrega do bem que jamais seria cumprido — explicou o Delegado.
A investigação durou cerca de seis meses e a operação foi batizada de “Lote Falso”. Com o material apreendido em São Paulo, a equipe de Investigação espera concluir as investigações em até 60 dias para determinar a participação de cada um dos envolvidos.

Em julho de 2020, conforme noticiado pela revista AutoEport, os pesquisadores do “dfndr lab“, laboratório de segurança digital da startup PSafe, já haviam identificado cerca de 819 sites maliciosos que promoviam leilões falsos. Juntos, eles teriam atingido pelo menos 52 mil brasileiros.

Ele revela que mesmo que o veículo tenha alguns danos, a compra pode valer a pena, já que os gastos do reparo e taxas adicionais, o valor do investimento ainda pode sair abaixo da tabela.
