O primeiro mega leilão totalmente on-line realizado pela Prefeitura de Uberlândia, que seria realizado na terça-feira (14), foi adiado para o dia 5 de outubro. Segundo a Secretaria Municipal de Administração, a remarcação foi devido a instabilidades técnicas registradas no site do leiloeiro contratado. A informação foi publicada na edição extra do Diário Oficial do Município (DOM) publicada na segunda-feira (13).
O Município afirmou que não haverá prejuízo ao processo em andamento. Com a prorrogação, o período para visitação dos lotes disponíveis será reaberto entre os dias 27 de setembro e 1° de outubro. Já o período de lances reabrirá de 27 de setembro a 5 de outubro.
A inscrição precisa ser realizada em até dois dias antes do evento. O leilão público é da categoria maior lance e podem participar do processo pessoas físicas com mais de 18 anos ou emancipadas, além de pessoas jurídicas. Após a aprovação do cadastro feito no site do leiloeiro, o participante recebe a liberação do login e senha.
O mega leilão tem quase 140 lotes disponíveis, contemplando veículos usados, sucatas de ferro velho, sucatas de informática e eletrônicos, bem como outros bens, que vão desde tambores até maquinários agrícolas. As avaliações iniciais para os itens variam de R$ 100 a R$ 20 mil. Os valores arrecadados serão destinados às secretarias de origem dos lotes e revertidos para os trabalhos e serviços prestados pelo Município à população.

O Município está disponibilizando os itens para arremate no estado em que se encontram. Os participantes também precisam ficar atentos ao edital, já que alguns dos itens disponíveis podem precisar de regularização junto aos órgãos competentes para serem utilizados ou passarem por procedimentos obrigatórios após arrematados.
