O interesse do brasileiro por veículos usados praticamente dobrou em 2021. Pesquisa divulgada pela Associação Nacional dos Fabricantes de Veículos Automotores (Anfavea), realizada junto a 2.426 usuários da plataforma de vendas Webmotors, revelou um aumento de 95% na intenção de compra.
A alta demanda provocou uma disparada nos preços dos usados, levando o consumidor a buscar alternativas de compra mais acessíveis. Nesse contexto, os leilões online ganharam força e têm registrado aumento no volume de negócios.
“Muitas pessoas estão descobrindo agora que os leilões online são uma opção muito atraente para realizar o desejo por um novo carro, dado que o lance inicial dos veículos oferecidos costuma ser bem abaixo do mercado”, afirma Ronaldo Sodré Santoro.
Fundador da Bomvalor – rede de leilões online que utiliza a tecnologia blockchain nessa área de leilões online movimentou mais de R$ 480 milhões em operações nos últimos dois anos – Santoro acredita que desaceleração da economia, combinada aos preços, tem adiado o sonho de um novo carro para muitas famílias.
Preços mais em conta para os carros usados
Segundo o Monitor de Variação de Preços, elaborado pela KKB Brasil, veículos com quatro a dez anos de uso, por exemplo, acumularam alta de mais de 22% em 2021, ante uma inflação de 10,06% no período.
Segundo o Instituto de Defesa do Consumidor (Idec), os carros comercializados em leilões podem custar até 60% menos do que modelos similares em revenda. Tudo depende do interesse que o veículo despertar no certame.

A Bomvalor dá algumas recomendações para se fechar um bom negócio em um leilão online. A primeira dica é se certificar de que o site de leilões é real, a fim de evitar as fraudes cada vez mais frequentes no universo digital. A plataforma Os Leiloeiros, que integra a rede Bomvalor, oferece uma relação atualizada das casas de leilão, com leiloeiros inscritos nas juntas comerciais e dados de contato.
O próximo passo é definir o orçamento disponível e não perdê-lo de vista. Embora o lance inicial comece bem abaixo do valor de tabela, os modelos mais disputados costumam atrair muitos interessados.
Com isso, o valor inicial de venda sobe, e o preço final acaba se situando entre 10% e 20% do valor de mercado – ainda assim, um negócio muito interessante.
Porém, avisa Santoro, o comprador tem de fazer o pagamento à vista, normalmente por transferência bancária, e precisa arcar com 5% do valor de arremate, que correspondem à comissão do leiloeiro. “Daí a importância do orçamento prévio”, lembra.

Outra recomendação é buscar o máximo de informações a respeito do veículo desejado, que devem constar do edital do certame. O leilão de carros é dividido em quatro categorias, e o lance inicial do bem costuma ser influenciado pela origem do veículo.
- Veículos provenientes de recuperação financeira, incluindo aqueles recolhidos por bancos e financeiras, Detran, Polícia Federal e polícias estaduais.
- Bens de montadoras, o que envolve veículos que foram utilizados em testes internos, por exemplo.
- Carros das seguradoras, que foram recuperados em roubos, furtos ou sofreram algum sinistro.
- Veículos oriundos de frotistas e locadoras de veículos.
Além de estar atento ao descritivo detalhado do veículo no edital, é fundamental fazer uma inspeção prévia presencial do veículo antes do pregão, para avaliar, nos detalhes, o estado de conservação do veículo.
O edital do leilão também oferece informações a respeito dos critérios para participar, o lance mínimo, prazo do leilão, como e onde fazer o cadastro para participar, como se habilitar no dia do certame e como fazer para dar um lance.
